Tracking Your Cancer Treatment With Care

The Cancer Registry plays an integral part in Kootenai Cancer Center's care program.

The cancer registry team collects demographic, diagnostic, treatment and survival information on each patient seen at Kootenai Cancer Center. This information provides valuable data for clinical studies, evaluation of care and survival rates.

After collecting and analyzing the information locally, data is submitted as confidential and anonymous statistics for further epidemiological and statistical studies by both the Central Data Registry of Idaho and the National Cancer Database.

However, our support and communication with patients doesn't cease with the completion of treatments. Our Cancer Registry staff annually follows-up with all patients to evaluate treatments' effectiveness and encourage their continued vigilance through regular screenings and health exams
