Kootenai Health, Safe Kids and Panhandle Health to host free car seat safety check
The most precious cargo you'll ever carry is small children. To guarantee they're safely secured in a properly- installed car seat, register now for a free, mid-August car seat safety check in Hayden.
Certified car seat technicians will be doing free car seat safety inspections from 1 - 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10 at Panhandle Health District's new office, 8500 N. Atlas Rd., Hayden. Appointments are required. Call 208-666-2511 today to reserve your spot.
A limited number of brand new cars seats will be available to those who qualify with a minimum donation of $5 each.
Kootenai Health oversees Kootenai County's Safe Kids organization, a volunteer effort dedicated to child safety. Learn more about Safe Kids at http://www.kootenaihealth.org/, then click on services to get to volunteer services and Safe Kids. Look for Safe Kids Kootenai County on Facebook, too.
