Interview, Photography and Live Shot Requests

To ensure the use of accurate sources and for the protection of patient privacy, members of the media must adhere to the following Kootenai Health policies.

Kootenai Health Communications and Marketing must approve requests for interviews and photographs with patients, physicians or employees at Kootenai Health before scheduling.
Interviews with and permission to take photographs of patients at Kootenai Health facilities will only be granted with written consent from the patient or legal representative.
A member of Communications and Marketing must accompany news media at all times while on the Kootenai Health campus or in Kootenai Health facilities.
Communications and Marketing should be consulted to determine an appropriate location before dispatching a satellite truck for a live shot.
